Chris' Marketplace makes and ships 5 oz. hand made Jumbo Lump crab cakes with a minimum order of a dozen. The Jumbo Lump crab cakes are $12 per cake ($144.00/doz. + shipping & handling). If you are not planning to serve all of them right away (within two days after receiving them), simply wrap each crab cake in plastic and freeze them. Orders may be placed by calling toll free 1-866-785-4100. Chris' Marketplace has a guarantee of freshness and therefore does not keep an inventory. When you place an order, the crabmeat used to make your cakes will still be in the crabs that are swimming somewhere in the ocean. It is for this reason we ask that you place your order at least 3 days in advance. All orders will be shipped Overnight Express Delivery only. Please insure that somebody be present at the ship to address to receive the cakes on the day that you want them to arrive. Our Backfin/Lump crab cakes and other types of seafood cakes may be purchased through Whole Foods Market, the Freshfarm Market at Dupont Circle (Washington, DC) or the Montgomery Farm Women's Market (Bethesda, MD).
